Architectural and Structural Collaboration is a fundamental part of our work.  We are generally appointed as part of a design team to provide detailed refrigeration cost plans to the schemes quantity surveyor. We hold a key role in the design process, ensuring that the rest of the design team fully appreciate the necessary refrigeration integration requirements.  This process is important to ensure that there aren’t any costly short or long–term design compromises.

Our involvement is often required in the early planning stages to ensure that architects bear in mind refrigeration infrastructure before planning is sought. Refrigeration plant can be unsightly and also negatively influence the noise output from the building; our job is to highlight and where possible mitigate these issues.  Early co-ordination between the architect and the refrigeration designer safeguards against building design inadequacies and reduces both the eventual installation and operating costs.
