ENVIRONMENT
Traditional refrigeration methods use massive amounts of energy and have a typical global warming potential (GWP) of 3800, whilst C02 sets the benchmark and is given a GWP of 1. In short, a single kilogram of C02 is 3800 times better for the environment than a typical kilogram of traditional HFC (green house gas) refrigerant.
As specialists in the use of Co2, Hydrocarbon and HFC Refrigerants, Hamilton Clark provide expert advice on refrigeration techniques which keep overall energy consumption to a minimum and make substantial energy savings whilst reducing the environment impact.
